- First meeting of the Investigating Committee for a Timaru Christian School (9 people agreed to be part of the committee). ACE was considered at this stage to "get the school started".

- Legal advice sought on setting up a Trust.

- Public meeting with Richard Edlin, international Christian Education consultant. Topic - "The Why and How of Christian Education".

- Visits to Avon Christian College and King's Christian School, Christchurch.

- Draft principal's contract completed.

- Visit to Christchurch to talk to Peter van Rij (lawyer) and visit Christian Schools.
21 Sept 1994- Visit from NZ Director for ACE. Subsequently decided not to proceed with ACE for the curriculum.

- Foundation Document, Statement of Faith and a number of policies completed. Decided to establish independent of a church congregation.

- Serious investigations begun into finding a location for the school. Northhaven and New Life Centre premises were investigated. Negotiations followed with the New Life Centre.

- Advertisement for a teacher placed. Starting date set - Jan 1996.

- Principal's position offered to Susan Armitage.

- Investigations into curriculum resulted in Helen Pearson being contacted.

- Process of Provisional Registration started with Kelvin Smith, Ministry of Education, Christchurch.

- Local schools advised of our intentions to open a private school.

- Timaru Christian School Trust formed.

- Decided to change opening location from the New Life Centre to the College Road Presbyterian Church.

- Investigations into bringing transportables from Dunedin to 91 North St.

- Transportable classrooms moved onto 91 North St from Dunedin.

- ERO Review for Full Registration.

- Investigations into Integration formally started. Ian Young and Associates involved. Minister of Education advised.

Term 1 2007
The school year begins with three classes for the first time, Miss Kelsi Ferguson, Miss Toni Carter and Mr Robert Goulet are appointed. The school roll is full and a waiting list is established.

The school is granted a roll increase. We are now able to enroll up to 100 students

We establish a fourth classroom to account for the growing roll. Mrs Linda Thompson and Mr Grant Phillips are employed as teachers
