All who have been involved in Timaru Christian School over the past few years know that the biggest issue we have had has been with space.  Our school site at North Haven has been a real blessing and has given us an opportunity to grow to around 80 students in the ten years we have been there.

Now starts the next chapter in the life of the Timaru Christian School.  Our new site will give us plenty of opportunity to completely rethink what we can now offer in terms of Christian education to South Canterbury.

Our new site on Quarry Rd is set on 11 acres of south facing land with exceptional paved and grassed areas.  The school comprises of four buildings.  The large administration building is has exceptional facilities for staff, numerous office spaces, a very large library and a very large hall, sick bay, canteen and utility cupboards.

The school has one main classroom block with is connected to the administration block.  The classroom block is a three story purpose built building with 18 teaching spaces and many offices and storage spaces for school resources.

The remaining two blocks were previously used as classes for the teaching of Technology. each block have two very large teaching spaces teachers offices and their own set of toilets.

The school site has been closed for the past five years and requires some cosmetic attention.  We look forward to the possibility of moving into the new site later in the second term of this year.
